Carpets are widely used in homes and offices. They are used to add a little color or warmth to a room, or perhaps accentuate a certain area. In homes, carpets are comfortable and warm to the feet. In offices, they help reduce noisy clatter and are non-slippery, thus more comfortable to walk on. Carpets are a good alternative to tiles because they are less expensive, easy to maintain and replace.
Just like any other furnishing, it is necessary to take care of your carpets to avoid accumulation of dirt and stains that may be hazardous to your health. Asthma and certain allergies can be increased due to the accumulation of dirt and dust mites over time. There are several carpet cleaning solutions available that are effective in removing foreign particles and stains in your carpets, keeping them clean and odor-free.
Here are some tips on how to use these carbonated solutions.

•	Carbonated Water. Carbonated water is one of the least expensive cleaning agents. For a quick clean up on fresh stains, it works great. Just pour a small amount directly on the stain and soak up the liquid with a white cloth.
•	Baking soda. You can use baking soda when you are having a hard time removing stains from your carpet. Aside from being cost-effective and affordable, baking soda is a good alternative to harsh chemicals in getting rid of stains. Put a sufficient amount of baking soda in your carpet and use a cloth soaked in hot water and then scrub it on the carpet's dirty or stained area. You will be pleased with the immediate results.
•	Clothing detergent. This is widely used by most of the carpet cleaners for it has been proven to remove dirt, stains and odor.
•	Water. You can use a cloth soaked in water. Most of the dirt and stains will be removed with just using water.

Keep your carpets clean at all times and enjoy them in the years to come.

Do you have carpet cleaning problems? Are you having a hard time getting rid of all the dirt, stains, and dust mites? Say no more to your carpet cleaning frustrations. Here are some simple yet very effective ways to help you keep your carpets clean and fresh year round.

• Check your footwear for any dirt or debris and use rugs at the entry points of your home.

• Schedule regular professional cleanings for your carpets. Most manufactures’ recommend that carpets are professionally cleaned twice a year to maintain the integrity of the fibers.

• Use common solutions normally found in your cupboards for quick spill removal. These solutions will help you easily remove dirt, stain, and dust mites that stick to your carpet. Carbonated solutions like baking soda, carbonated water, and detergent soaps are less expensive yet effective in keeping your carpets clean. Make sure to use a mild solution in order to avoid discoloration or any damage.

• If you use a home cleaning machine between professional cleanings, make sure the carpets are free of loose dirt. Make sure your carpets are completely dry before walking on them after cleaning. Wet carpets tend to absorb dirt more easily.

• Use a vacuum cleaner regularly to remove dirt and dust. Dirt particles act like razors or carpet fibers. As you walk and grind the particles into the fibers, the particles can grind and cut the carpet fibers, making the carpets look warn.

• Do not eat or drink within a carpeted area in order to avoid spillage of any liquid or food that may ruin the appearance of your carpets.

• Have your carpets cleaned by professional carpet cleaners on a regular basis. Twice a year is recommended for prolonged carpet life. Professional equipment removed deep down that normally can’t be removed by cleaning your carpets yourself.
